British Airways also operate the London Heathrow /Aberdeen route daily, which may suit if you plan to start your tour on the east coast. Rail Connections from Inverness to Tain, which is then a 10 minute taxi journey from Dornoch. The hotel will be happy to book a cab to meet you from the train. Car coming from the Inverness: Come up the A9 from Inverness and follow the signs for Wick once approaching Dornoch take a right turn off the A96 and continue into Dornoch once in Dornoch itself stay on the main road until you come to the crossroads, take a left and then quickly right heading up the hill. The hotel is just on the right hand side. Dornoch is only 1 hour's drive North of Inverness, just off the A9. From Glasgow/Edinburgh the approximate driving time is 4 hours. We will be pleased to arrange car hire from Inverness airport on your behalf with Enterprise Car and Rental. Bus: A regular daily bus service from Inverness will take you to Tain and again we will be pleased to arrange for a cab to take you to the hotel. Whatever time of year you are travelling, you can be assured of some memorable scenery along the way - you may be lucky enough to see deer grazing on snow clad mountains whilst travelling from the South through the Drumochter pass - or seals lazing on the still shores of the Cromarty Firth, North of Inverness.
