The Sanctuary of Saint Maria di Merino, artistic and architectonic poor, guards the wealth of the people of Vieste. E' a monument to the faith, the mariana mercy, the viestana culture. It is introduced to the sight like the rural, massive, stocky manufatto, typical Mediterranean, without a line architectonic, similar to the imposing masserie and the towers that encircle it. Its date of construction is not univoca, like testifies the structure in its complex.
