This museum is known for its large sampling of historic Irish cars and bicycles.
It's all about wheels at this museum which holds a collection of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and carriages. It includes an 1825 hobby-horse bicycle; a 1907 Silver Stream, the only model ever built; a 1904 Germain, one of four remaining in the world; a 1910 Wolseley Siddeley once driven by William Butler Yeats; and an ill-fated De Lorean -- the futuristic, stainless-steel car manufactured in the 1970s at a plant in Ireland. Lining the walls are early motoring and cycling periodicals, and license plates from all over the world.
