From West: - Follow the A38 from Plymouth, take the Totnes turning (A385) and follow signs to Paignton and then from there to Torquay. - At the traffic lights at the sea front turn left, signposted for the harbour and Meadfoot (if travelling from Paignton you are already on this road. Keep going straight). - Continue over the next set of traffic lights, turn left at the roundabout and continue past Hoopers and Debenhams. - Turn left at the next roundabout (clock tower in centre of roundabout). - Take the right lane at the traffic lights and turn right into Meadfoot Road (signs for Meadfoot Beach). - Continue for a half mile (road turns into Meadfoot Sea Road at brow of the hill). The Meadfoot Bay guest house is on the right hand side as the road starts to go downhill.
