The famous Esplanade is the road that runs behind and above the Spa. The Mansion House Hotel is near the centre of the Esplanade at No 45 about 50 metres past the cliff-lift. A location map can be printed from the back page of the hotel web site. The bus and rail station are about 3 km away and can be walked on a nice day but with luggage it is probably better to take a taxi. However, if you decide to walk come out of the bus / railway station follow the road down to the main road and turn right. Head across the metal bridge and turn up the road with the Granville Hotel on the left hand side. This is the Esplanade, we are No 45 which is about 300 metres along.
