The grand old house that once stood here burned down years ago, but the gardens are lovely, and mix 200-year-old trees with sweet wildflowers and azaleas to attractive effect. There are beautiful views of the lake and the valley, and a pathway leads down to the River Deenagh. Main access to Knockreer is through Deenagh Lodge Gate, opposite the cathedral, in town.
