Ireland's little-known links with Germany are the focus of this unusual museum, which studies the history of the Palatine families who emigrated from Germany and settled in this part of Ireland in 1709. It uses artifacts, photographs, and graphics to tell the tale. In addition, the museum seeks to illustrate the Palatines' innovative contributions to Irish farming life and their formative role in the development of world Methodism.
