(IATA: FDH, ICAO: EDNY) is an airport 1.9 miles (3km) north of Friedrichshafen, Germany. It is the third biggest airport of the German Bundesland Baden-Württemberg, serving approximately 0.6 million passengers in 2005. It is also known as Bodensee Airport, Friedrichshafen.

History

This airport has a long history. The first scheduled passenger flights with the Zeppelin started from here, as long before they relocated to Frankfurt/ Zeppelinheim. If you accept this past the airport should be entitled the first in the world.
