Banana Beach 
Banana is a long sandy beach with amazing crystalline waters is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Zakynthos. A few beach bars are standing on the beach and offer sun beds and umbrellas.

Also know as Ionio beach, Banana beach is a fine sandy beach with clear waters. It's located in the Vassilikos peninsular and signposted from the main road between Argasi and Porto Roma.

Location:
The beach sits at the Southern end of the island in Vasilikos on what can only be described as a 'nubbin' of land that just pokes out from the bottom of Zakythos. There is a long downhill road to reach the limited parking space on the sea-front. If you are thinking of visiting the beach then you will need your own transport.
