From the M5 motorway: - Follow signs to Torquay on Newton Road, continuing straight through several sets of traffic lights until eventually reaching Torre Train Station and Halfords on your right. - You need to be in the right hand lane (turn right out of Torre train station if on foot) which leads to Avenue road. - Continue straight, passing an Esso station on your left and then continue straight through the lights. - Keep travelling straight for about 300 yards and look for Bampfylde Road on the left. Travel up Bampfylde Road and take the 2nd left onto Bridge Road. Acorn Lodge is 100 yards on the left. From the seafront: - Keeping the sea on your left from Torquay centre, follow the coastal road until you see the Grand Hotel on the right after the bowling greens. - At this point take the right hand lane at the traffic lights and turn right for Torquay Train Station on Rathmore Road. - Continue past the train station on your left (turn left out of Torquay train station if on foot) and follow the road to the first set of traffic lights, keeping left. - Turn left onto Avenue Road and look for Bampfylde Road on your right. - Continue as above.
